Abstract

Heterocyclic chemistry has applications in diverse areas such as dyes [1], photosensitizers [2], coordination compounds [3,4], polymeric materials [5,6,7] and many other fields. Of particular interest are dyes which have widespread applications, some of which are shown in Figure 1.
