Abstract
The reaction of hydrophilic amino alcohols with sulfonyl chlorides in the presence of metal oxide (MgO, CuO, Ag2O) in aqueous organic solution cleanly provided alkanolsulfonamide. Advantages of this method were mild, neutral reaction conditions, chemoselectivity and easy
