Abstract

A new series of N-substituted amino acids has been synthesized by the reaction of amino acids with S-methyl cyclic Some derivatives of these acids are described together with the bicyclic compounds 3-keto-A8-hexahydroisothioureas. 1, 4, 8-pyrimidazole and 3-keto-2, 3, 5, 6-tetrahydro-l-imidaz[1.2-a] imidazole. 4 new series of cyclic guanidino acids analogous to those described by Elderfield and Green3 has been synthesized.
