Abstract
The 1, Zhydrogen and carbon rearrangements of singlet alkylcarbenes to alkenes is a reaction of current theoretical and experimental interest. lS2 Several recent experiments have focused on the temperature dependence of the rate constants for these rearrangement^.^ Interestingly, the obtained activation parameters are quite different from those predicted by theory.
