Abstract

A new series of 2, 4-hexadienoic acid derivatives (S1–S42) has been synthesized and evaluated as antimicrobial agents against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, and Aspergillus niger.
