Abstract
During the course of our work, based on the cobalt-catalyzed formation of organometallic compounds, we have found a new method for the preparation of functionalized arylboronic esters from the corresponding arylzinc species. 8 Contrary to arylboronate esters, arylzinc species can neither be stored for a long time nor isolated because of their instability.
