Abstract

Abstract Some numbers of the family of 2-(aminoacetylamino) thiazoles were synthesized. The structure of these compounds was identified both by elemental as well as by spectroscopic analysis (UV, IR, H-NMR, MS). The possible local anaesthetic action of these compounds was also tested using the sciatic nerve of the frog.
