Abstract
Summary Butadiene monoxide was found to form a minimum boiling azeotrope with water at 64.5'. The boiling point, refractive index and density of the highly purified oxide were measured. It was established that butadiene monoxide absorbs bromine quantitatively after forty-eight hours contact time.
