Abstract

A range of (2, 2': 6', 2''-terpyridine) platinum (II) complexes are shown to possess antiprotozoal activity in vitro against Leishmania donovani, Trypanosoma cruzi, and Trypanosoma brucei, the causative organisms of tropical diseases leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis.
