Abstract
A SO3H-bearing nanofiber mat was synthesized and investigated as a novel heterogeneous acid catalyst. Preoxidated polyacrylonitrile nanofiber mat was prepared via electrospinning and heat treatment, and then reacted with chlorosulfuric acid to introduce the sulfonic groups.
