Abstract

The combined organic phases were washed with saturated aqueous sodium chloride (5 mL) and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and the solvent was removed at reduced pressure to give the desired acid 4 (700 pg, 72%): UV (MeOH) (max) 271 nm.
