Abstract
CONCLUSIONS There is some correlation, although not precise, of the results between the three types of water test as to their deleterious effects on nitrogen resin-containing alkyd coatings. Composition of the nitrogen resin influences the results markedly. The urea resin is much poorer for resisting water exposure than is the melamine or triazine resin.
