Abstract
Despite their potential for clinical use many of these compounds are found in low natural abundance; whereas narciclasine (1) is available in practical quantities,[1a, 3] the limited availability of lycoricidine (2), pancratistatin (3), and other derivatives poses one limitation to their development as viable therapeutic agents.
