Abstract

A procedure is described which can measure sulfadimethoxine (SDM) in the livers and kidneys of swine and cattle at the regulatory 0.1 ppm level. A deuterated analogue of SDM, SDM-d6, is added to homogenized tissue and the tissue is processed according to an isolation procedure previously developed for the colorimetric determinatlon of SDM.
