Abstract
We report herein on the alkylation of cuprates 1 with various electrophiles under conditions where both alkenyl groups are used. Previously, the alkylation reaction has generally been performed with a large excess of the cuprate reagent “, a significant drawback when the organometallic reagents are less available or more expensive than the electrophilic substrate.
