Abstract

Novobiocin, elaborated by Streptomyces niveus, is a crystalline, acidic antibiotic of the composition Ca1H3eN2011. Studies on the fermentation, a-4 extraction, purification and properties, 6* 6 biological activity'and clinical usefulnesss have been reported.
