Abstract
We recently reported that rhodium(II) catalyzed the construction of indoles from azidoacrylates. 16 We wanted to extend this chemistry to the formation of pyrroles from dienyl azides (Table 1) and found that rhodium(II) perfluorobutyrate efficiently promoted this process (entry 2).
