Abstract

(3). To a Teflon bottle was added 16.7 g (0.12 mol) of freshly distilled a-terpinene (Aldrich), 0.1 g of copper stearate, and 13.1 g (0.11 mol) of methylphosphonous dichloride. The solution was sealed under nitrogen and heated at 82-86 OC for 3 weeks.
