Abstract

Since the discovery of the estrogenic activity of diethylstilbestrol by Dodds and co-workers, many other relatively simple compounds have been tested for this property. Of the compounds studied, some derivatives of triphenylethylene, 3t4 diethylstilbestrol and hexestrol5 appear to show promise of clinical usefulness.
