Abstract

Several cyclization reactions of dithiobiurets have been known hitherto. For instance, alkyl or aryldithiobiurets (1) react with aldehydes or ketones in the presence of hydrogen chloride to give hexahydrotriazine derivative (2). 1'Another example is their oxidation.
