Abstract

The new bis (phosphin0) amines HN [P (CF3) 2] 2 (mp-54"; bp 93" estd.) and CH3N [P (CF3) 2] 2 (mp-31'; bp 117" estd.) were made by using (CH3) 3N to force the action of (CF3) 2PCI upon H2NP (CF3) 2 or CH3NHP-(cF3) Z. Both are stable up to 300" and resist acid cleavage at 100".
