Abstract
An original synthetic route to asymmetrically substituted methoxypyrazine (MP) derivatives is described. The first step of the synthesis is achieved by condensation of 1, 2-aminoalcohols with Boc-protected aliphatic aminoacids followed by cycloimine formation and aromatization via chlorination.
