Abstract

Summary: The three title radicals, l&a, I+@ and l& have been synthesised by oxidation of corresoondina carbanions with iodine. The radicals are red to uurule air stable solids the and the the and s.. their ir and esr spectra show considerable interaction between the unpaired electron and carbonyl or cyano group.
