Abstract

zolin-5-one (1). A solution of 205 mg (0.843 mmol) of 4-methyl-4-phenyl-2-trifluoromethyl-A2- oxazolin-5-one (1) and 2 mL of methyl acrylate in 230 mL of dr, y acetonitrile was irradiated for 8 h through a Vycor filter with a Hanovia 450-W medium pressure lamp.
