Abstract: The crystal and molecular structure of hexaisopropylbenzene (1) has been analyzed by X-ray methods at 99 K: space group Pi, a= 6.400 (2) A, b= 9.943 (3) A, c= 10.223 (2) A, a= 117.79 (2) O, 0= 94.78 (3) O, y= 105.58 (3) O, Z= 1. The molecules closely approximate c, h symmetry in the crystal.
