Abstract

Abstract A Chiral secondary propargylic triflate (5) reacts with phenylthiocopper phosphine complexes (1) and (2) to give propargyl and allenic sulphides with complete inversion of configuration, but the corresponding mesylate (4) reacts with both complexes to give racemic products.
