Abstract

It has been well known that oligomerization of acetylene such as cyclotrimerization leading to benzene derivatives or linear dimerization of terminal alkynes leading to ene–yne derivatives is catalyzed by a variety of metal complexes eg, cobalt, rhodium, zirconium, tantalum [1].
