Abstract

As there is no data on the effect of the structure of substitutents on the nitrogen atom on the antiarrhythmic action of quaternary propranolol derivatives, we have prepared a number of quaternary propranolol analogs of general formula by alkylation of l-(~-naphthoxy)-2- hydroxy-3-dime t hylaminopropane.
