Abstract

Abstract Preparation of all possible monobromo-6-methoxy-8-amino-quinolines is reported. These materials provided an opportunity to assess the effect of bromine substitution on 13 C- NMR chemical shift patterns. An explanation of the isomerization of 5-bromo-6-methoxy-8-
