Abstract
In earlier papers dealing with the characteristics of the unsaturated system CCC= O, it was shown that most of the compounds con taining this complex behave essentially like those containing the conjugated system Cd-C= O. The only notable exception to this rule occurs in the case of those nitrocyclopropane derivatives in which a nitro group is attached to the ring.
