Abstract

Abstract The first copper-catalyzed allylic substitution reactions of allylic acetates and carbamates employing a bis (triorganosilyl) zinc reagent are reported. This novel procedure avoids the use of stoichiometric amounts of copper salts which are usually mandatory with this chemistry.
