Abstract

Abstract Reactions of ethylaluminium dichloride, diethylaluminium chloride and triethylaluminium with p-chloranil have been investigated. Tetrachlorohydroquinone and p- ethoxytetrachlorophenol are the main reaction products after hydrolysis.
