Abstract

Aryl–heteroaryl substructures are ubiquitous in natural products, bioactive molecules, functional materials, and pharmaceuticals. In the past decades, the transition-metalcatalyzed direct CÀH arylation of heteroarenes with aryl (pseudo) halides for the construction of aryl– heteroaryl motifs has attracted much attention because it obviates the use of organometallic reagents, which are generally difficult to synthesize and are, in some cases, unstable. ...
