Abstract

While reagents abound for the introduction of acyl anion equivalents via displacement and carbonyl addition reactions,'relatively few methods exist for the introduction of such units in a conjugate manner to Michael-type acceptors. 2 We now wish to report a new method for the direct hydroacylation of such acceptors.
