Abstract
B= methanol-ethyl acetate. a colorless solution resulted. This solution was filtered to remove catalyst, the catalyst was washed with 100 ml. of hot water, and this added to the filtrate. To this clear solution, concentrated hydrochloric acid was added until the pH was 6.5; then it was heated on a water bath to 70'and more acid added to pH 3.
