Abstract Controllable bistable electrical conductivity switching behavior and resistive memory effects have been demonstrated in Al/polymer/indium-tin oxide (ITO) sandwich structure devices, constructed from non-conjugated vinyl copolymers of PTPA n OXD m with pendant donor–acceptor chromophores.
