Abstract

Inhibitors of platelet-fibrinogen binding offer an opportunity to interrupt the final, common pathway for platelet aggregation. Small molecule inhibitors of the platelet fibrinogen receptor GPIIbAIIa were prepared and evaluated for their ability to prevent platelet aggregation.
