Abstract
The Heck reaction [1] has been studied in detail as a powerful tool for the construction of CÀC bonds in organic synthesis.[2] Over the past several decades, the scope of the Heck reaction has been expanded significantly to include aryl chlorides [3] and tosylates,[4] alkyl halides,[5] and arenes (through CÀH activation) as suitable substrates.[6] The Heck reaction can also be carried out regioselectively with electron-rich olefins.[7] However, Pd- ...
