Abstract
Obatoclax is a linear oligopyrrole compound which antagonizes the antiapoptotic effects of the Bcl-2 family. Herein we describe the synthesis of obatoclax derivatives by replacement of the pyrrole and indole ring of obatoclax with thiophene, furan and thiazolidinedione.
