Abstract
We have long been interested in the synthesis and study of new bridging heterocyclic ligands and their use in coordination and metallosupramolecular chemistry. 1 For example, we have recently reported investigations of binuclear metal complexes of ligands such as 1–5 (Scheme 1). 2 Within this context, we showed that the binuclear ruthenium(II) complexes of ligands 1–4 exhibit unusually strong metal–metal interactions, seemingly mediated by the existence of ...
