Abstract
We report herein the selective C–C bond formation by the reaction of nitrobenzyl carbanions, formed via the TDAE strategy, with α-haloesters and α-haloamides. This reaction, extended in benzodioxole and dimethoxybenzene series provides new potentially CNS active agents.
