Abstract

Abstract A simple and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of various 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole derivatives prepared from DHPM using microwave irradiation technique. The series of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole-2-yl-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydropyrimidine-2 (1H)-one derivatives synthesized, were structurally confirmed by analytical and spectral data and evaluated for there lipoxygenase inhibitory and antibacterial activities.
