Abstract

Abstract Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) have been fluorinated via the high-valency metal fluoridesCoF 3, MnF 3 and KCoF 4. The fluorinating powers of these reagents for the monofluorinationof 2, 2-difluoropropane are in the order CoF 3> MnF 3> KCoF 4.
