Abstract

The reaction of Li,[C6H3 (CH2NMe2)-oRo'1, with [RhCl (diene) 12 yields the ortho-chelated arylrhodium (1) complexes Rh [C6H3 (CH2NMe2)-oR-o'](diene)(R= CH2NMe2, diene= COD (la) or NBD (lb); diene= COD, R= Me (2) or H (3)). The solid-state structure of la was determined by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. C20H31N Rh: triclinic, space group Pi, with lattice parameters a= 10.169 (1) A, b= 13.036 (1) A, c= 14.688 (2) A, cy= 79.54 (l)', fi= ...
