Abstract

Fluorescence-labeled glycoconjugate polymers carrying carbohydrate segments of a globotriaosyl ceramide (Gb3) were synthesized and subjected to biological assays using Escherichia coli O-157 strains and Shiga-like toxins (Stx-I and Stx-II).
