Abstract
Various mono-and disubstituted 2, 2'-bipyridines were synthesized in high yields and multigram scales utilizing Stille-type coupling procedures. The corresponding bromo- picoline and tributyltin-picoline building blocks were prepared from commercially available amino-picoline compounds.
