Abstract

Other routes to 2, recently rep~ rted,~~'~* entail lengthy syntheses and/or thermal extrusion reactions requiring special pyrolysis apparatus. These circumstances limit the amount of material that can be used in the reaction sequence and also place restriction on the type of functional groups that can be present.
