Abstract
Abstract A search for a convenient and optimal method for synthesis of diphenylacetamide derivatives is connected with a problem of obtaining the valuable herbicide1) the NN- dimethyldiphenylactamide (diphnamid). All the syntheses of diphenamid descibed so far amount finally toa reaction of diphenylacetyl chloride with dimethylamine according to Chaney et al. method2).
