Abstract

Abstract The mechanism of the enzymatic decarboxylation of S-adenosyl-L-methionine catalyzed by S-adenosyl-L-methionine decarboxylase and its inhibition by methylglyoxal bis (guanylhydrazone) were investigated. The results indicate that the carbonyl group of the
