Abstract
In preparing dithiobiurets for another investigation, the action of perthiocyanic acid on various substances containing the amino group has been investigated. Glutzl has shown that perthiocyanic acid unites with aniline to form phenyldithiobiuret and Fromm2 has pointed out that in the formation of phenyldithiobiuret an excess of aniline tends to increase the amount of thiocarbanilide formed along with the dithiobiuret.
